Imagine the silence of a snow-covered wood, fresh air on your face, sun rays that filter through branches: all this is snowshoeing in the snow!
Have you never heard of snowshoes? They are a type of racket that you fasten to your feet so you can walk easily in the snow. In the Val di Ledro in winter, you can go on hikes organised in collaboration with the Rete delle Riserve delle Alpi Ledrensi. The outings include walks in the meadows and woods during the day or hikes in the moonlight, ending with the aroma of boiling hot mulled wine.
Fearless ski mountaineering enthusiasts will find some free ride routes and adventurous ice waterfalls in the Valle di Ledro.
From 1974 metres in altitude of Passo Tremalzo or descending from Cima Parì, you will experience the thrill of a descent on fresh snow, after crossing the most beautiful snow-covered woods and meadows of the valley. At a time when nature is fascinating, yet not devoid of obstacles, we recommend being accompanied by experienced guides. Ask us for advice on how to contact those who can safely accompany you.
In the Val di Ledro, on the plain of the Val di Concei, there is a cross-country ski run, where you can gently plough through the snow surrounded by icy white landscapes.
In the locality of Chinaec, 2 kilometres from Lenzumo, a 5-kilometre route crosses the woods of the Val di Concei: it is partly floodlit so you can ski from morning until late at night. Can’t you ski? No problem! From the beginning of winter and during the Christmas holiday period, you can take part in cross-country skiing courses for children and adults, hiring the equipment you need on site.
