Mountain Biking
In the Val di Ledro and the Alto Garda area: the most fascinating Bike Arena in Europe is right here!
Whether you are a professional mountain biker or a leisurely cycling tourist, it is an area ready to be explored: more than 200 kilometres of paths await you! Starting from our hotels, you can climb up forest roads, mountain paths and steep mule tracks. The path that leads to Tremalzo and the stretch up to Rifugio Pernici are two incredible stages that true mountain bike enthusiasts will not want to miss: these challenging routes always offer breathtaking views.
Slow Biking
Slow Biking means flat trails and gentle slopes, enjoying every movement at the pace you prefer.
Hence, the cycle path that runs along Lake Ledro is ideal: it leads to the natural oasis of Lake d’Ampola, through woods, meadows and reed thickets. Many quiet secondary roads, with little difference in height, will lead you to the heart of the Val di Concei for a revitalising break at Rifugio al Faggio. For your short trips or simply to get to the beach, our city bikes or the enjoyable 4-seater rickshaw are available.
Nordic Walking
Having a holiday while keeping fit: it is easy in the Val di Ledro!
Nordic Walking is a discipline that is very popular with locals and hikers. Thanks to combining walking with the coordinated movement of the arms, this sport involves all the muscles in the body. The increased intensity of the pole-guided movements makes it an excellent activity to stimulate the metabolism, awaken muscles and burn calories. Where can you go Nordic Walking in the Valle di Ledro? Almost anywhere, from the comfortable flat trails to the highest peaks of Passo Tremalzo.
Hiking
The variety of nature of the Valle di Ledro combined with different characteristic views led to its nomination as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2013.
You will understand for yourselves that hiking in this land is a unique experience: you will enjoy the flowering plants in the meadows of Dromaè, learn about the special features of the flora of Tremalzo or go bird watching with experts from the MUSE, the science museum of Trento. You can have this experience and others in addition to a wide choice of hikes, which you can go on independently, to alpine dairies and mountain refuges, through unspoilt landscapes with a difference in height of more than 2,000 metres.
